Overview
The Planning Commission reviews all major applications and environmental clearances. The Planning Commission meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM in City Council Chambers.
Municipal Code Sections § 32.01 - 32.68.
The Planning Commission of this City consists of a total of five members. Each member of the Planning Commission serves a two-year term. Commission members are appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. City Planning Commissioners perform the duties required by applicable state law, and such other duties as may be ordered by the City Council.
Qualifications: Appointees to the City of Baldwin Park Commissions shall be residents of the City of Baldwin Park at the time of appointment and at all times during their term in office. Commission members will receive a stipend of $50 per meeting for attendance. Members will not receive a stipend to missed meetings.
Commission members shall not hold public office as an elected official at the time of their appointment or at any other time during their term. Each member of the commission shall serve at the pleasure of the City Council.
