City BusThe Transit Program provides effective transportation to the residents of Baldwin Park through the coordination and supervision of the fixed-route and dial-a-ride service.

Program & Functions

Administer and promote the City's fixed-route and Dial-A-Ride services.

  • Serve as liaison to residents and local agencies regarding all transportation issues
  • Monitor bus shelter maintenance
  • Administer Proposition A and Proposition C funds and provide necessary reporting to the Metropolitan Transit Authority
  • Identify grants and other funding sources for transportation systems.

Hours of Operation

  • 7 Days a week: 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Weekend Service must be booked by 5:00 pm on Friday

Fare Per Person 

  • $0.50 fare per person
  • Free for disabled and seniors (pre-qualified at the Esther Snyder Community Center. To pre-qualify, please apply at the Julia McNeill Senior Center.)

If you are over 60 years of age you may qualify for a Dial-A-Ride card. Just complete the application below and bring to the Julia McNeill Senior Center Monday through Friday 9:00 am- 1:00 pm
