BALDWIN PARK, CA – The City of Baldwin Park confirmed reports that federal immigration authorities were present today, January 19, 2026 at locations around the City. The City of Baldwin Park did not receive advance notice of this federal activity and was not involved in its planning or execution.
We want to state clearly: Baldwin Park stands with its residents. Our City remains unwavering in its commitment to the safety, dignity, and well-being of every member of our community, regardless of immigration status. Baldwin Park is a city built by generations of hardworking families, and every resident deserves to feel safe, respected, informed, and supported.
“Baldwin Park has always been shaped and strengthened by immigrant families whose contributions are essential to who we are today,” said Mayor Daniel Damian. “While the City does not control or direct federal immigration actions, we are fully committed to transparency, to safeguarding constitutional rights, and to ensuring our residents know that their City stands with them.”
