Susan Rubio Zocalo Park opened on September 14, 2024, bringing 2.75 acres of open space to the heart of Baldwin Park. Located just northwest of City Hall at the intersection of Pacific and Maine Avenues to Sterling Way, the park enhances the community with a blend of natural elements, public art, and sustainable design.

The park features a serene, walkable plaza, an art-filled passive area, decorative lighting, a pavilion, a retail building, a city monument sign, and water wise landscaping. All facilities are ADA-compliant, ensuring accessibility for all visitors.

Sustainability was a central focus in the park’s design, with water conservation features that reflect the City’s commitment to a more environmentally resilient future.
