The City of Baldwin Park Department of Recreation and Community Services is dedicated to meeting the social and recreation needs of the community.
Functions of the Department
The Award-Winning Department provides a variety of services that meet the social, emotional, and physical needs for every member of the family from youth and teens to senior citizens. Activities include low-cost high-quality recreation programs and free special events geared toward the entire family. Services that are offered include special interest classes, ESL, youth and adult sports, child-care, aquatics, senior center, social service referrals, and excursions.
The Department of Recreation and Community Services constantly strives to provide programs and services that are innovative, exciting, and affordable. The Department's Accomplishments over the last year have resulted in the Department of Recreation and Community Services being recognized as an outstanding statewide organization.
