Celebrating Park Make Life Better Month 2025

This past July, the City of Baldwin Park celebrated Parks and Recreation Month with a full lineup of fun, family-friendly events and activities. Our Recreation and Community Services team worked hard to provide engaging activities for all ages and the results were nothing short of amazing!

Parks Make Life Better Month Kicked Off with Community Fun

Parks Make Life Better Month kicked off with a series of vibrant events that brought the community together for fun, creativity, and celebration.

The festivities began with Paletas in the Park & Lotería at Morgan Park, where families enjoyed refreshing paletas and lively games in a relaxed, welcoming setting. The celebration continued with the Independence Day Spectacular at Sierra Vista High School, drawing crowds for an evening of patriotic fun and entertainment. Wrapping up the week, Coffee & Canvases at the Ramona Blvd Starbucks offered a peaceful morning of painting and connection over coffee.

These events set the tone for a month dedicated to highlighting the joy, connection, and enrichment that parks bring to everyday life.
