The Department of Recreation and Community Services has successully accomplished many projects over the past decade and has been presented with several awards in recognition of the extraordinary achivements and service provided to the community . Over the last several years the awards presented to the Department have included five (5) Awards of Excellence from the California Parks and Recreation Society (CPRS).
