The Transit Program provides effective transportation to the residents of Baldwin Park through the coordination and supervision of the fixed-route, dial-a-ride and taxi services.
PROGRAMS AND FUNCTIONS: Administer and promote the City’s fixed-route, dial-a-ride and taxi services.
Serve as liaison to residents and local agencies regarding all transportation issues.
Monitor bus shelter maintenance and advertising programs.
Administer Proposition A and Proposition C funds and provide necessary reporting to the Metropolitan Transit Authority.
Identify grants and other funding sources for transportation systems.
