The City of Baldwin Park, Department of Recreation and Community Services hosts a variety of Aquatic programs year round at the Baldwin Park Aquatic Center, 4100 Baldwin Park Boulevard (behind the Esther Snyder Community Center).

Registration for all programs is taken on a "first-come, first-serve" basis at the Front Counter of the Esther Snyder Community Center. Registration will remain open until classes are filled. You may only register immediate family members (children, grandchildren, sibling, and parent).

MORNING LAP SWIM & WATER AEROBICS
Days: Monday - Friday
Lap Swim: 8:00am-9:30am
Water Aerobics: 9:30am-11:00am
Ages: 18yrs +

SPRING RECREATIONAL SWIMMING
Children 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult, one adult per child, in the water at all times.

All patrons must wear appropriate swim attire. Basketball shorts, T-shirts, and jeans are not allowed. Spectators are not permitted at the Baldwin Park Aquatic Center.

EVENING LAP SWIM & WATER AEROBICS
Days: Monday & Wednesday
Time: 8:00pm - 9:00pm
Ages: 14yrs +
Fee:
$25* per session - Residents
$35* per session - Non Residents

*Students with a valid student ID
will receive a $5 discount.

Sessions:
Spring Session 1: April 5 - May 12
- Registration begins Monday, March 22

Spring Session 2: May 17 - June 23
- Registration begins Monday, April 26
- No class Monday, May 31 (Memorial Day)
- Make-Up Tuesday, June 1

CPR, FIRST AID & AED TRAINING COURSE
Protect a Life…Save a Life. This CPR, First Aid & AED Training Course will train and certify participants in CPR for an Adults, Children and Infants, Standard First Aid and AED for Adults and Children.

The course is 6 hours long and participants must attend the whole classes in order to receive certification.

Days: Saturday
Time: 12:00pm - 6:00pm
Age: 16 years & older

Fee: Residents $50/season
 Non - Residents $55/season


Session 2: March 13, 2010 (Registration begins February 22)

USA SWIM TEAM
Winter Season: January 11 - March 26
Days: Monday - Thursday
Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm Age: 5 - 17 years
Location: Baldwin Park Aquatic Center

Fee: Residents Non-Residents
$70*/season $100*/season
*Additional USA fee is required subsequent to registration.

Tryouts: Tuesday, January 5 & Thursday, January 7 (6:00pm - 7:00pm)
at the Baldwin Park Aquatic Center.

Registration (at the Esther Snyder Community Center):
*Returning Participants Monday, December 28 - Friday, January 8
New Participants Monday, January 4 - Friday, January 8

*One week of priority registration is given to returning participants who have been enrolled in at least one of the previous two seasons.

ALL SWIMMERS & PARENTS/GUARDIANS
must attend a mandatory meeting on Monday, January 11
at the Ester Snyder Community Center at 5:30pm in lieu of practice.

POOL RENTAL INFORMATION
A completed facility request application must be submitted ten (10) working days prior to your requested date.

LIFEGUARD TRAINING COURSE
Interested in working as a lifeguard? This Lifeguard Training Course will train and certify participants to seek employment as a lifeguard. The course is 26 hours long and all four classes must be attended to receive certification. Upon completion of the course, participants will be certified in Lifeguard Training, CPR, First Aid and AED.

Participants must be 15 years of age, able to swim 300 yards continuously and retrieve a 10 lb. weight and swim 20 yards with it.

Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Age: 15 years & older
